Big Bend Revival
The Big Bend Revival is our annual Spring Trip to Laughlin's Big Bend of the Colorado State Park. The trip is meant to revive our paddled souls from the weary winter doldrums and blues that can accompany them. We kick off the year with a fun filled weekend of camping, canoeing, and good family fun!
Located just over an hour south of Las Vegas lies Laughlin, Nevada. A mecca in the desert where the mighty Colorado flows downtown along side the towering resorts and casinos right to our campground.
Plugs and Paddles
Plugs and Paddles is what we decided to name our clubs annual Canoeing and Fishing Trip to various lakes and locales throughout Nevada and Utah.
Plugs and Paddles I, II, and III were held at Pahranagat Lake near Alamo and Ash Springs in Lincoln County. Number IV was held at Boulder Beach at beautiful Lake Mead, and V will be held at Echo Canyon Reservoir in the Spring Valley State Park Area of Lincoln County. This set of Lakes is located just minutes from Pioche, Nevada.
These are very family friendly trips to lakes that offer great scenic views, calm water for easy canoeing, superb fishing opportunities, and great campgrounds.
