~ 2nd Annual Colorado River Cleanup ~ 
    ~ Saturday, February 13th ~

We are inviting the Las Vegas Canoe Club members to participate in the Second
Annual Colorado River Cleanup which will happen on Saturday, February 13th from 9 AM to Noon (mountain standard time)

Last year we had 400 people working on the shoreline for the accesible areas and 10 people in kayaks and canoes working on the shoreline. We are going to ask any volunteers in canoes and kayaks to work on one of 3 5 mile sections of the river, working specifically on areas that can not be reached from the shore. Desert River Kayak will provide a free shuttle back to your car at the end of the day for all volunteers.

Bags and other supplies will be provided but if you have gloves and reachers you would like to bring to us, please do so.
There will a pizza party immediately afterward for all participants.
